help me decorate?

I’m stumped on how to bring this all together! Backsplash, rug for couch area, pillows for couch, and what to do with the pine wall. Fireplace/ tv. And whatever else you got! My counter tops are London sky silestone.

I would move the TV from over the fireplace to next to it on a swivel arm. Put a piece of art over the fireplace and add some to the wall behind the couch.

A colorful area rug would look good.

I think this tile would look good.

Just an idea, if you find art that has some of the room's neutrals:

Would you paint or stain the pine wall?

I am curious to see what your sectional would look like in front of the window but remove the end portion of the couch, and place that to the left of the fireplace as additional seating. Then, get a long TV credenza and place it across from the windows, mounting the TV above it.

I love the pine wall. Your stone fireplace and pine wall do a good job in bridging the gap between cool/warm tones. I would do a clear stain for the wall, making sure the stain doesn't alter the coloring too much.

For your rug, I would look for something that has grey and tan to continue the cool/warm tone marriage.

For pillows, I would look for color combinations that do the same, like these:

Then, add potted plant(s) in baskets for more texture.

    Hope this helps!

Hmmm I’ve never considered that idea!

We do have a beautiful lake view out that window tho!

Ah, scrap that idea then! I would look for a corner TV cabinet and place the TV in the corner to the right of the fireplace. The TV above the fireplace feels too high and awkward.

You could whitewash/gray wash the pine wall to tone down the yellow. You could also paint it white but that would require a lot of prep as those knots tend to bleed through. I think an accent rug with some color (and a few pillows to go with it) would tie everything together nicely. Also, one picky request: can you move your table so that it’s centered under the chandelier?

Actually it usually is centered. I think we pushed it back there to carry something out.

What are your thoughts on backsplash to tie it all together?

Your decor is so soothing and lovely. I would stay with that theme by selecting a backsplash tile that has texture rather than pattern and would try to match the cabinet color. I’d stick with a simple, traditional layout and not get too fancy with herringbone or vertical stack.

I like houssan's idea a lot--put the TV to the side. Since you have a view, then sofa should stay where it is.

On my screen, the pine wall reads as gold. Is that how it looks in person? I'm normally a keep-the-wood finish Commentor, but the driftwoo-y floors and golden pine don't play well together. So two things you could do:

--Get art work and rug in grays and gold (if pine is golden stain)

--Alternative: whitewash the pine as suggested with a wash that has gray tones to it.

I’m not crazy about the yellowish of the pine so maybe whitewash?

Can the sofa face the fireplace?
