Little lime zone 4

I moved last september so i gave my little lime to my daughter. we planted it in september and it looked very healthy in her garden.

now so far this year it looks healthy with lots of green leavesa but just starting to see the tiniest little broccoli buds , very tiny. is this normal or should it be bigger this time of year.

good sun location.

Sounds about right. I’m in zone 5b/6a and this is what my Little Limes look like, situated in full sun.

The tiny buds will enlarge and become "typical" sized LL blooms... sort of... they do get a little bigger once the plant matures and has been established in the garden but not as large as 'regular' Limelight's blooms.

Sounds normal, and it must be happy if it is planning to bloom after being planted or transplanted last fall.

I can't think a a time a paniculata has not bloomed for me the season after planting. They don't go through a slump, just take off and bloom reliably.

My Little Lime were planted just last summer from some small 2 gallon pots, and now they are doing well and are just starting to bloom in my Zone 4a garden! So you are doing just fine! :-)
