Replacement Windows grids or no grids?

Grids to look just like they are or no grids? I also like the look of the 3 over 3 and no grid on bottom but don’t know what to do about the picture window using those for the other windows. 🤷‍♀️ Updating siding to a Maverick brown shake which is lighter that the current siding sticking with white trim, ideas for a new door welcome also! Thanks!

I was torn between grids & no grids. I like Celery's rendition very much.

The color change is the Real Biggie. All of that black & esp the black gable end were troubling me. Celery chose a really nice color that complements the stone.

I would change the siding, get a new door and then stand back & take a good look at the results. The existing windows may look just fine with those other changes. (Of course, the windows may be old, rotten & in need of replacement anyway...)

I think the eight over one fits the proportion of your windows. Glad to read you are getting a new door. A door like this, but without the side lights and transom.

When we replaced our windows we went without grids. For me, I enjoy looking out the windows without the grids obstructing my view. You have a nice looking home.

One other detail--I think I would change the rectangular gable vent to a V-Shaped one. Relatively easy to do since you are replacing the siding anyway.
