Sansevieria francisii doing things

last modified: 5 years ago

I bought a little S. Francisii at Lowes in '18 or '19. It was in a 1.25 in pot, planted in a disc of moss slightly larger than a quarter. I only recognized what it was because I had been reading here and looking at photos. These roots it puts out from between the leaves are just so neat! They almost look molten. I live the way they will just plough right through leaves or split them from the stem. This plant bloomed not long ago. Now, it is making stolons. I have been waiting for this! They are getting so fat.A new leaf is emerging from the parent plant. I was not expecting this after a bloom.S. Franciscii had some leaves removed and a repot today. This has been a very nice plant to keep. It's narrow profile makes it friendly for my small environment.
