I had this pot nested in a tall Terra Cotta planter. I liked the look in the home over Winter. I also like the window box idea.

Reason for side stem growth is due to it flowered. Ending the terminal growing point so the plant responded with lateral growth. Very nice. Showing it's Dracaena family genes.

The size and weight of these stolons are really something else, and they happened quickly.

I love the way this plants tears itself up putting out new roots and stolons. The roots and stolons go right through leaves, push them out of the way at all angles and even rip them right off of the main stem.

The pups are already much, much larger than the parent plant was when I got it. Those stolons are like clubs.

Such an easy keeper and a pleasure.

That is amassing. I have just seen a hanging basket of one with the extra stolons over hanging the basket looking like a giant spider.

I was wondering what to do with this plant as it gets heavier. Hanging would be a space saving idea....I might be able to get away with that. I'd like to watch these a little longer. They are so stout. I'm worried about breakage.

I have a highly variegated white S. francisii. When or if mine does this, I would simply cut them off and start them up in the same pot as the mother plant.

I currently having this problem with S. Cleopatra. It started to develop 3 maybe 4 stolens above ground. Don't know how this is going to turn out.

I think those Cleopatra's are just nuts., Kicking out those massive rhizomes, launching themselves out if pots. I'm looking forward to seeing what those growths do for you.
