You are welcome. This color works best with a painted house. I have not used it with brick exteriors. Love the color though.

You're fully right. It works for sure with (white) painted background. It gives a good and reasonable contrast. With brick exteriors would be risky. I'm planing a new front door for my house rougly in the same size. In my case, the question would rather be, if the color would work with an aluminium door. I chose Al for convenience, as a wooden door needs a high level of maintenance in the area I'm living in (Bavaria, Germany). I'll give it a go anyway, since with this color, it was for me like love at first sight :)

Worth trying. Anything can be repainted. That is the beauty of paint. Good luck. It is an awesome color. I painted the shutters on the front of our retail space the same blue.
