Just wanted to update.

I had a ans test done by my neurologist, trying to figure out numbness in feet and it showed that I am my sympathetic autonomic nervous system is failing. He is not sure , but he thinks it's from all these autoimmune diseases, the sarcoidosis, and psoriatic arthritis, but he said it could be a neuro degenerative disease. But I'm not having any dizziness on standing, so we will reevaluate in 6 months. He wants me to get all of my symptoms written down, and we may do a spinal tap then as well.
I just wanted to update. I am still doing well. I feel. I really think being in nature heals. I feel so much better, in the yard, messing with my plants. Some days lately it's been really hot and humid, but the afternoons are nice. I know I don't get on much and comment anymore, but I think of you all often. I do believe, I will be in my yard up to the end, whenever the lords deems it my time. Hopefully a long time from now. Don't worry about me, as I said, I think I do well with everything going on. Eat right, try not to stress, having my garden refuge, and yoga, or tai chi, when joints are worse. Much love to you all.

I, too, Alana am hoping for the best for your future. I had some wonderful patients carrying on with some serious diagnoses and it was quite remarkable and inspiring. I think of you every time I get a yearning for Umbra.

Carol's remarks are so much more eloquent than mine but I agree with Eileen and Carol 100%.

    Do rule out amyloidosis.

Hi Alana, I hope that things turn around soon -- autoimmune diseases are so unpredictable. Perhaps the world slowly coming out of the pandemic will provide you with a chance to de-stress and may help your symptoms improve (God knows that the last year has brought stress and declining health to so many of us). I wish you all the best!

Alana, your rave reviews of Orpheline de Juillet are why I purchased it. I really hope your health continues to improve and you are able to enjoy your time with your family and garden.

Than km you all so very much. I always do try to look on the bright side of things. I must have misunderstood my neurologist, I had a message on my cell. We are doing Spinal tap July 27th. Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I'm happy for the inspiration I gave.

Hoping the spinal tap goes smoothly on the 27th and you get some helpful information from the procedure! I’ll be thinking of you. Carol

Alana, it's so good to hear from you. I love hearing about how your roses are doing since very few people in the southeast grow them. I'm encouraged to try some myself. I'm sorry to hear about your health problems but it's some relief that your doctors are seeking answers. I hope you will continue to find joy in your garden and that you will sometimes stop by and share your roses with us.

Carol, exactly why I am having it done. Hoping for concrete answers. I feel good, I have my bad days, don't get me wrong. But I believe I am so blessed, to feel as good as I do, and especially to the fact that I get to grow my beautiful roses, such a gift, we have to live life, no matter the one we are given. Never give up, and live to the fullest.

Thanks so much Kes! I'm glad that I inspired you! I will be sure to keep on sharing the roses with you all. And as soon as I have answers I will update.

And I wanted I thank you all again. I am overjoyed to have such a wonderful group of roses freinds, that we are able to share everything with. I may not know you all in person, but I am so happy to know you all. Everyone of your comments were heartfelt.

I'm so glad you shared your situation with us even though it's news of additional medical symptoms we would wish you didn't have to have. We're a family here and we want to be as much support as we can be at a distance. Medical issues are frustrating and nerve wracking at the best of times and with autoimmune conditions and associated pain complicating the mix I'm sure this is a stressful time.

We are thinking of you and if you welcome it, keeping you in our prayers. You are conveying a positive spirit that goes a long way toward making just about any situation better, so we are happy to do what we can to continue to support your spirit.

Do keep us posted and we're all thinking of you

Best wishes from up north! Try celery juice, it won’t hurt to give it a try.

    From: WebMD

    Potential Risks of Celery Juice
Celery juice contains chemicals called psoralens, which make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Drinking large quantities of celery juice could raise your chances of skin cancer and other skin problems.Celery allergies are also relatively common. If you notice itching or swelling in your mouth or on your skin after drinking celery juice, you may be allergic.

Be careful of things like WebMD though, naturally. It'll tell you you're surely in dire straits no matter what! Information is very useful though.

Alana, I hope things progress in a positive way for you! Feel well!
