Passing Fancy: Somewhat new. It has great plant habit with three way branching.

SALTY SKIPPER: I know Mantis likes this one. I am beginning to come around with liking it more and more.

Tainted Love: One of the few nonpinks and nonwhites that he introduced. Not the best picture as the blooms were crowding each other, but it is a good one.

SHIRLEY'S RED DRAGON: Purchased it off the LA last Fall. This is its first bloom.

NEW COVENANT: I am really liking this one and the color. The color is that vibrant in real life.

SMOKEY MOUNTAIN AUTUMN: Looking really good this morning.

PINK TARANTULA: Still in a pot. It will have a home in the ground come August/September. I love it and I nothing like it in the garden.

What a good picture of the UF Pink Tarantula. I find the Picture of the shape and symmetry of this bloom unusually attractive to my non UF taste. Good job on the pic..............Bennett pinks are always top notch in the color department. Out of curiosity, when did he die? That pattern on Jazz Me Blues looks very "now"..........I am always happy to see Smokey Mountain Autumn. It's one I grew many years ago and remember fondly..... And I also like Bennetts non pink, Tainted Love. Do the blooms typically crowd each other out?...................Maryl

I have Kay to thank for the PINK TARANTULA. She posted many pictures of it, that it appealed to my UFO/spidery taste. I'd like to think that I don't grow many spidery types, but they are increasing in their presense in the garden.

Mr. Bennett passed away on April 21, 2015.

Jazz Me Blues has never shown this pattern before. My best guess is that it comes from the LAVENDER BLUE BABY side of things. I see LBB in the background of several patterned plants. The other parent, KIWI MAGIC, has not passed on that pattern from what I can see.

TAINTED LOVE has multiple scapes blooming, so the blooms in the picture are from 3 separate scapes.

What a nice pattern on Jazz Me Blues! What size is the bloom on that one, and is it a dip? I like Pink Tarantula, Passing Fancy and Jubilee Ball.

I always enjoy seeing Salty Skipper, Passing Fancy caught my eye. i enjoy seeing your Bennet daylilies, there arent any in my gardens

Jazz Me Blues is so pretty. Passing Fancy looks good. Smoky Mountain Autumn stuns when it looks like that.

An exciting post. New Covenant does have a vibrant color.
