Can you move closer to a bright window? The grow lights may or may not help........it is really hard to get enough light from a grow light on a large plant. Most of the light is within a few inches of the bulbs, as you get further from the bulb it is less effective......so with a large plant you can maybe make enough light for the top of the plant, but not the whole plant. Make sense? Anyway you can cut that just about anywhere. I would cut it almost directly in half.......as it seems like it is the newer growth on top that is more spread out, whereas the lower growth is "bushier" and more compact. You could cut off the top stem with about 7 leaves or so.

Thanks for your input !!! It is about 10 feet from a west facing window . Lack of space prevents me from putting it in any other location. Hopefully these lamps will help! It has been showing new growth on a daily basis and grew at least 2 feet in length ! Assuming that means it is kind of happy?

This is what I cut so far… you think I should go further down ? By cutting it shorter will that generate more growth on the bottom instead of climbing?

Just realized this plant may not be an actual monstera .. apparently called a mini monstera because it looks like it . Any thoughts on how I can actually confirm that ? Do monsteras usually have slits in all leaves as mine does so early as this was a new plant I bought 2 months ago which was much smaller … at least 15 leaves have grown since I got it…

I was pretty bummed out as I though I had got a monstera…. So much that I just picked up this morning a real monstera deliciosa and ficus ruby I think is what they call it . Placed them in same spot under grow lights and hoping they get sufficient lighting 🤞they are still located 10 feet away from a west facing window that has no blinds so there is additional outside light in that room.
