I will try to answer, we are a custom cabinet design & mfg. company. This is a custom driftwood veneer w / a sun bleached stain. Down in Florida we deal with high levels of humidity and how you finish out this product can be sort of tricky. I know White oak is very popular right now, finding suppliers differ from state to state. Hope this helps some, this sounds like a great project!

Thanks so much for reply! We are in Jacksonville Florida. I wonder if any veneer products would not be a good idea? We were using white oak in kitchen but I didn’t love the stain options (was using Greenfield cabinetry). We were also using some veneer in other areas by pool bar (inside) or a bathroom. I don’t think I’d want veneer in a huge kitchen right? This is the color match I’d love. We’re going with an Alys Beach design in home. Thanks for input!
