Remove the clutter, fill in or cover top of the concrete blocks. Trim shrub at end. The plants suggested above would look great. Also remove tree stump.

I hate to say it, but the blocks need to go. You want low maintenance, but that is a huge space to maintain. Remove everything and start from scratch.

Just FYI it's not recommended to be planting right up against your home's walls. No soil should be there, either. We live in a Mediterranean climate so it's an open invitation to termite infestation, LOL.

Jainag is correct I do live in south Florida area, Ft Lauderdale/Sunrise. And I agree not put anything against the walls either but I will look into those flower types

And I see I have the Mexican heather already in just covered by the tall shrubs.
