All of these seedlings are possible introductions.

Chomp X Mitch Lynd is on the small side--about a 5 inch flower.

Never Too Late X Mitch Lynd is a 5 inch flower too and also a late bloomer.

This seedling is blooming late. It is Sonoran Desert Rose X Apache War Dance. So far, the first two flowers are trying to double.

This will be an introduction for next year. It's Ebony Jewel X Baracuda Bay. It's vigorous with a good bud count. The color is pretty sunfast in our climate too.

Ashwood Inferno s a bright one! Mine is reblooming now and without the competition of all the others around it, it really shows up!! Hell on Heels makes an impressive clump and is quite showy. Wide Wide World looks like it has some of those hard to capture colors. The Mitch Lynd seedlings are pretty.

I always appreciate your comments on performance. WIde Wide World is one of those oldies that warrants another look when seen in person.

I like your purple seedling and the fact that it holds color for you. A bit of information that always interests me.........Ashwood Inferno is burning up the lens. Is that bright or what........... I like Mermaid Princess too. Color scheme similar to Linda Sierra...........You are so right about the humidity. We had temperature of 88 last week but high humidity due to storm coming in and it was worse then the drier 99 degrees that it is today............Maryl

More great blooms here, i like your seedlings the bestpest. I agree with the comments about Wide Wide World, it’s one of those thats hard to capture the color in a photo.

My, what a name given to "Hell On Wheels". Beautiful clump pic of it though. Ashwood Infermo would be something I would pick. Bright color. Seedlings look good too.

Heat and humidity here too. Spend just 10 minutes doing outside work and your soaked in sweat. The only thing I find easy on those days is mowing. Just ride the tractor around and try to caught a few breezes. Take it easy in the heat.

I thought I left a comment on this, but I don't see it. So I'll redo. I really like the look of Buddy's Abilene. It's too bad it hasn't done well for you. I love the name Hell on Heels! LOL I think all the purple/lavender seedlings look good. I can't imagine what planting 1,400 seedlings is like. Sixty is the most I've planted so far.

Debra and Julia, I believe the story behind the name Hell on Heels was the nickname Gail Braunstein, the hybridizer, got at her work place.

Debra, we have maybe a 1000 more seedlings to go. It's too many for us and for the first time we are choosing not to plant some. They may be planted at the end if we have room. They are the ones with an unsure parentage, usually resulting from a tag malfunction or a Nancy malfunction.

I like Ashwood Inferrno really well. Hell on Heels is a nice clump you have really been busy and you must be having weather like ours with so much rain for the weeds to grow so. I have just fiinished the Iris bed weeding. But there is much more to do.
