Westbourne Chip off the Old Block has been in bloom over a month now, with 3 instant rebloom scapes

Tuscawilla Tigress is a dependable rebloomer, had some scapes have a really good bud count and branching despite being a poor location

Lemon Crinkles is listed as mid season, but always blooms late for me

Midsummer a Woman's Work is not that pretty, but reblooms constantly, staying in bloom maybe til hard freeze

Last 2 are late blooming seedlings

This seedling has maybe 4" flowers on tall crooked but well branched scapes, and a late one. The picture makes it prettier than it is, it is a brighter peac color in person

I don't keep track of the pollen parent, the pod parent is Eyes That See. I like that one too, I am going to move it where it will get a little better soil. My seedlings have to struggle.

I like the bright color on Brave World and both of your seedlings look pretty, although I think I like the first one a bit more................Maryl

I agree with Maryl. The color on Brave World are appealing, and I like both of the late blooming seedlings. I think my favorites are Touched By Grace and Westbourne Chip Off the Old Block.

Brave World is always so pretty in the colors it shows. Your seedlings look good too. That is a great bloom time for the Westbourne.

The Westbourne here is the most appealing to me. But I always wonder what Westbournes are good in the north. I can recall Julia's saying that most didn't do well for her.

Nancy: Thanks for the info on tbe seedling. It does resemble the pod parent Eyes That See. However I like your seedling because the sepals do that twisty thing . I can't recall what they call that in daylily lingo. LOL.

Mantis: you are correct. I grew many Westbournes but several failed or were sold. I think there were 3 that did okay in NY garden.

out, I agree about the seedling. It is not as bright as Eyes that See, but that twisty thing is interesting, and being later blooming is nice too. Most Westbournes seem to do well for me, but I have had a couple of real duds. I am kinda an in between zone, but dormants are better here than evergreens.

I always like Brave World! It took years for me to find the right spot for mine, but since then it has been great. I like your first seedling a lot!

Brad, Brave World has been blooming almost 5 weeks this year, still has a few buds. I moved it to an area of the garden with poor soil and gets lots more buds. Same experience with Get 'r Done and Last Reward. Maybe that soil is not as bad as it looks.
