Hi,

1. For Tiles fireplace surround: I would run the chevron tile all in one direction. Just as the the chevron shows in the photo. Pointing up is a good direction.

2. For front of raised hearth: use one color as match from Chevron. It should be larger tile.

3. For hearth may large tiles or a continuous slab. One color. Grey in the chevron would look nice.

Are you going to consider covering the edges of the brick. This will make it look more modern then breaking up the hearth in two materials.

1. thought to run chevron on top of the hearth and face of firepalce. not sure how much a slab would cost.(trying to do this on a low budget).

2. wasnt planning to put tile over the white panel at the front. might run baseboard across front caninets and fireplace and thr rest of the room.

Yes all thr brick will be covered and the cement board.

we had to build forward the rest it was all brick previously.

across id have to cut off 2”,

and 4” extra froma nither sheet going up. should incut at thr top or bottom

If i got a slab, this would have to be the measurements

(drawing not in proportion, had to overexaggerate for clear biew of the measurments).

What colour marble/granite for slab?

im notnsure of thr bame of the marble chevron grey shades some white
