What is going on?

I need help ASAP. I planted 4 beautiful Hawaiian TI plants and they are all turning green. 😔 I am so bummed about it. I don't know what can be causing this. The ones that are planted in the ground have yellow and brown spots. The ones that are still in the pot is turning completely green. Please help me with this. Thank you so much

looks like late onset of minor planting stress for the one in the ground.. all the new growth looks ok ...

does that wall get hot in sun at all ... it is planted a bit close to the house ... maybe move it in fall ... and i wouldnt plant the potted one that close either ...

august isnt really planting time for most of us.. hold the potted one.. in full bright shade until a better planting season .. .imo ...

did you just buy these .. frankly.. they just look a bit tired from a long growing season .. tired ='s stressed ....

they are stressed.. fert is not a response at this time ....

make sure you water deeply and infrequently.. allowing them to near dry before watering again ...

where are you.. big city name.. i might change my answer a bit depending where you are ...

is there landscape fabric under the rock?

Kissimmee Florida. Yes there is landscape fabric underneath the rocks. I planted the plants in May. Here in Kissimmee it has been raining a lot.

The leaf color in Ti leaf is not stable. It changes with time and environmental conditions and changing environmental conditions from one place, like the nursery, to your house. The leaf color will change with the amount of sun in gets over the changing season. The leaf color of Ti Leaf is not stable. It is ever changing.

All leaves get old, tattered and dinged up. Then they die and fall off. The ugliest ones are usually at the bottom away from the growing new leaves.

Your Ti are fine. Relax.

Aren't all those stones going to roast the roots? I don't know about FL but surrounding plants and trees with stone is not considered a good idea up north.

Has no one noticed that these are not “planted”, they are still in their pots.
