Moving to a new house and whereas I had very wide windowsills (12-14") at the old place, the new place doesn't have windowsills any wider than about 3-4". So I'm planning to place a collection of large succulents and cacti (lots of tall growing Euphorbia, Pachypodium, large jades, Cereus sp) next to a nice set of south facing windows. Some will eventually grow large enough to have their pots placed on the floor, but I'd like to create some sort of display stand that can accommodate 8-10 big plants at varying heights in a nice looking display. I was thinking of using wine crates of different sizes or a group of wooden pedestals of varying heights. I can always just buy an old reclaimed wood table or something but I know there are lots of creative folks here and if anyone has some faantastic ideas they'd be willing to share, please post some pics and inspire me! :-)
