Do you know what the wood actually is, is it the same top and bottom, and have you tested removal in an inconspicuous area? Post pictures of the room’s furniture. Until these things are known, it’s hard to make suggestions.

clear coat or stain the wood areas to match the walnut of the TV console, and then paint the non-wood parts off white.

is there any wood veneer on the underside of the table? you could sand and experiment with stain colors until you get a good match. just to practice until you're ready to do the visible parts.

I thought the pictures were ideas because the look so different on my phone.

Thank you.... the walnut on my entertainment center is not as dark as the color on the legs and middle ring. I would either have to sand all of it and then stain a medium walnut (not sure this would cover the blemishes) or stain the side parts that dark color and put on a high gloss (that is what is there and I kind of wanted to change it). Otherwise I could stain the lighter wood pieces a walnut and paint the rest. This would prob be the easiest option but I kinda like the lightness of the wood!

can you post a pic of the entertainment center? I think I might be confused about what color it is, since it's whitewashed.

The entertainment center has a light green tinge to it

Can you find edge banding to match?

oh, ok, so the TV unit is definitely white! in that case, I'd sand that entire coffee table and whitewash it to match the front of the TV stand. (you might need to practice on scrap wood to get the color right.) even the parts that don't have a pretty wood veneer will probably take whitewash just fine. or if not, then just whitewash the real wood parts and paint everything else matching white.

don't do light/dark two tone, I don't think it would work with this piece.
