What brand of cooktop and stove is that and does it have an indoor grilling surface? Looks like something by Viking or Wolf.

I will be doing a kitchen remodel soon. I like the look of framed cabinets but up until I visited this site I could only flnd them with visible hinges. What hinges do they use so they are hidden. Love it.

These are called recessed cabinet doors versus what is called an overlay door. Any custom cabinet manufacturer can provide you with this style of door and hidden hinge. I hope the above helps.

The stone is granite and it is called Angola Leather which the homeowner had color enhanced. It was purchased at Heartland Granite in Aurora, Illinois.

The ceiling is a 1x6 V Groove mdf tongue and groove material.

Yes, the floor joists directly underneath the island were actually doubled up to add strength to the structure. On any project I am involved in where we are installing large islands with stone tops, I will always install additional floor structure. In some cases the easiest way to do this is to literally take the plywood floor deck up and add floor joists. Good luck!

The tile is a standard white subway tile. I apologize but I do not know the exact name of the manufacturer. Any tile supplier should be able to point you in the right direction if you show them the picture of the tile. Good luck.

Can you please answer a question about the ceramic tile? It appears that the Shaker Weave tile does not come in the color Milky Way. Only the Stellar Collection has that color. Do you know if the Shaker Weave in this kitchen was custom blended to have the Milky Way Color?

The cabinets are made by Joliet Cabinet Company. The color is their sample # 971 White. The island is their black as well. However I would caution you that a cabinet company's color will not match the same named color of a paint manufacturer because of the way the paint is applied and finished.
