transplanting hostas???

Zone 5 here. Last month a huge pine tree was split in a storm and was removed down to the ground a few days later. There is a lime green hosta, transplanted to current space 2 summers ago, now turning white from too much sun.

There can be a shady space for hosta to move to---but when?


When is a good time of year to move hostas around in heat wave conditions?
