I’d look sad too if I moved from Florida to Illinois. Cut nothing off and give it as close to the same care it had before the move as to watering and light. If air blows out of that vent you may want to move the plant.

Many of my tropicals spend this time of year at Summer Camp aka outdoors. If it were me, I would find a nice semi-shady/filtered sun/East-facing spot for it outdoors. As long as the pot has good drainage, I would elevate it so that it has a chance to free drain and water it daily. In about a week, I would start giving it some kelp (1 oz to 2 gallons of water) every 3 or so days.

Hopefully it will start putting out some new growth before it has to come back indoors.

I live in Zone 5 Colorado (near Denver). My plants start to migrate back indoors in early October.

The leaves that are fully brown can be removed. But I would consider leaving any leaves that still have green because the plant needs those to photosynthesize. So you can't take away all of that at once.
