You can bring in colors to mute the countertops. You currently have cabinets accentuating the countertop colors. If you find the right colors for your walls and cabinets, you can bring out the whites in your countertops - muting their presence.

Also by putting the right colored accent items on the counters, you can take attention away from the counters. Picture a bright colored orchid, for example.

Gentle request - please don't insult all men by calling it masculine

I don't understand what would be insulting, but okay. Thanks

remove the antlers and driftwood and stuff like that above the cabinets. You need different pendants..larger and you can get statement pendants. Get Hardware for the cabinets. I'd probably remove the trolley at the side. Get an interesting vintage hutch if you really need something. .....the fridge/stove run can be enhanced w a backsplash.

Frequent advice: live with it awhile before changing anything.

If you will possibly do a full remodel down the line I’d leave it as is. Add some hardware and your own decor. Like towels, coffee maker, vases, trays, candles...

I'm not a fan of this color scheme nor the lack of backsplash either. I would remove the 4" granite splash and do a full tile backsplash in a color that will tone down the yellow in the granite as much as possible. Something metallic might work, a pewter color maybe. Then I would add some coordinating hardware to break up the dark color of the cabinets. Choose paint last - it looks like your kitchen is open to the rest of the surrounding rooms so you might have to take your other decor into consideration. I would also accent with plums and greens (plants, dishtowels, etc.) to tone down the yellow and generally brighten up the color scheme.
