I just painted some with spray paint. I used one called "hammered finish" that's kinda shiny and has a metal look about it. And on the others I just used flat black. The Krylon Fusion All in One has primer and paint. Seems to work well. Takes two or three coats. You can do it!

Thanks diggerdee, I went with your idea and really like the way it turned out. Using that kinda of paint I noticed a can doesnt last as long as the standard spray paint and its a little more expensive, but it did a great job of covering imperfections alot better than the standard spray paint.,. Heres a before and after

Fantastic! The imperfections help make it look like real concrete! If I went to pick that up, it would probably go flying in the air from thinking it was going to be really heavy.

Randy Man I'm so glad this worked out for you! They look great. Maybe I'll get a pic of mine to show you how they've lasted for 15 years. That definitely makes the cost of the paint well worth it. Hope you get a long time out of yours as well.

Tiffany, I'll never forget shopping for bird baths with my mom. For some reason all the price tags were on the bottom of the bowl part. I would bend my knees, reach an arm under each side of the bowl, tilt it up, and my mom would read the price. We did this at several nurseries. Well, we get to one bird bath, and I got into position, put my arms under the bowl and started to lift - and almost fell over backwards! It was plastic hahaha! Needless to say it was a good quality plastic if it fooled us after dozens of concrete ones. My goodness we were laughing so hard we were crying. People thought we were crazy!
