I prefer the first arrangement. Do you have a large bathroom vanity? you could use it there for soaps & potions. Or your kitchen?

I prefer #2 . Looks more airy and can see more windows.

Thank you! I think I’ll move it back to the original layout. I’m just getting this room back because my husband moved his office here at the beginning of the pandemic. We’ve finally moved him to a more permanent location. I thought I’d try something new as we were shuffling furniture back.

The 1st one is best. I don't like the table in the 2nd one.

Really stunning room! I’m in agreement that #1 looks best. Also- kudos for hiding that cat tree in plain sight! Your orange kitty looks so happy there.

I agree that the cat tree definitely stays.

We would recommend getting a new rug, however we don't love the drop table in the back. Either layout would work we just recommend not using the drop table in there.

Absoutely #2. No doubt in my mind.

Perhaps it is the symmetry, or the all light furnishings in a room built for light but I prefer the arrangement in the first picture.

Do, however, also like your three tier serving stand in that second and third picture.
