For best results you need to sand, primer & paint.

that kit is a step process a bit different than just priming and paintng.......deglossing.....bonding. primer ....topcot and glaze . if you performed everythng correctly it looks like you could perhaps degloss and get a new kit and tint their product. It says it is tintable. It says ther product should last for years....I'd call their tech support and aim to degloss and use the same product /different color its possible the primer step could be unecessary if you used their bonding primer originally..

Thanks herbflavor.... I did do it properly and my only issue with the process was the topcoat, it was tedious and not totally smooth.

I did email their customer support and they say I can just paint over it as long as I degloss. I was hoping that someone already had done this so I'd know for sure which was the best way to tackle this. :-)

i've deglossed. over old exterior gloss paint on a door. I just didn't want to get a new door at the time and the gloss paint as you know is so hard etc and I didn't think sanding would be worth it, or work at all. . DEGLOSSING ...buy a fresh good quality one...it was easy and worked and the primer and then paint I followed up with is holding up well. this door is exterior and faces southwest...lots of weather changes and sun. it will be fine on interior surface...if they said skip the primer I think thats okay. .
