Help with staging the master bath

RE photos next week so I am cleaning and trying to stage. All suggestions welcome! Should I buy a rug?

No, it looks lovely the way it is. You can substitute the there for a folded bath mat, but I wouldn't put one the floor.

    Looks beautiful! Little, nit-picky things:

    No towel draped over tub.

Edit perfume bottles and vases on shelves. They’re lovely, but less is more so people can imagine their things in the room.

Rug: either is fine. I’m actually liking it bare. Maybe a pristine one in front of shower?

    Good luck with your sale!

With staging, less is always best. I too would remove the towel at tubs edge, and edit the perfume bottle collection. Somewhat personal, I wonder if you should even pack that away and replace with a couple of simple bath type things. Small folded or rolled towels that might be used at the sink. Maybe a container with a pretty soap, or simple lotion on those shelves.

Think about what you might see walking into a luxury hotel, and the minimum of additives you might like to see displayed.

Really, looks great. There is very little you need to do there.

Lovely room. I would move that cute stool over to the side so that it looks more out of the way. I would add a pretty candle in some sort of holder on that top ledge above the shampoo type bottles. I would add a thick white bath mat (think expensive spa) in front of the vanity. Only put it down right before a showing and then put it away. I would get rid of the perfume bottles. They are super pretty, but lots of people are sensitive to perfume, and, tbh, it reads a little "old lady" to me and I'd be terrified of something breaking. Maybe you could put something more trendy? (You are trying to sell, right?) Maybe some rolled up white wash cloths, a few bath bombs, and a succulent? Could you find cool long skinny baskets to tuck the towels in?

    Something like this?

Agree less is more. When we were selling (3 yrs ago) we were told no rugs or mats. Lots of white towels, and less is more. We did sell in like 5 days, thankfully because who can live like that on a daily basis?!?! That was not just for the pix but for showings.

Less is more in my opinion especially in a bathroom - no need for the towel on the tub or the stool/towels in the middle of the tub. IMHO it looks better without those staged distractions. Also reduce the cluttered look on the glass shelves - just place a couple simple, useful items there.
