Refrigerator: I have the 33" counter depth 3-door GE and like it very much (ice maker inside nothing on door)

Would suggest the dishwasher go on the right side of the sink so the left end can be a cabinet for a landing space when entering the kitchen.

Do not buy the Samsung fridge. I just moved mine to the basement and it has leaked into the crisper trays since we bought it in 2012.

Use a table, not an island, so you can sit on any side. Why stare at your fridge for every breakfast, lunch and dinner? If you must have a portable island, check code requirements in your area for floor outlets in a kitchen. Kicking in-use plugs could happen quite often.

I am not sure about your cabinetry and storage needs, but have you considered a single dishdrawer?

Do not purchase a Samsung anything — and especially not a fridge. You will never go wrong with Bosch induction or a Bosch dishwasher.

A large Breville convection oven will meet your needs, but take up a huge amount of countertop real estate. Weigh the loss of cabinet space against that. Personally, though I love my Breville, I would prefer a small under cab oven.

I have a galley kitchen that's 7' long on each side. I have full-size appliances. I don't understand why you are installing this collection of tiny appliances -- with an enormous refrigerator -- when you have 9' of counter space on one side and 8-1/2' on the other. I'd install a 24" dishwasher*, 24" or 30" sink, and a 30" induction range. A 30" two-door refrigerator should be plenty big for two people, I'd think. A small countertop oven or microwave could be put in the corner. Or you could add an OTR microwave or microwave/convection oven.

*I compared the energy consumption of two 18" and 24" Whirlpool dishwashers. The difference was $7/year.
