Cleaning Tips Kitchens Flooring

Cleaning kitchen/bathroom tiles

We found those cement traces ( I guess !) On the tiles we have in our kitchen and bathrooms..we've been cleaning those twice a week and it ain't going
Do you think of a method to clean these with less mess and hazard as I have 2 cats at my place ? Do you think we should rent the polish machine from home Depot (added a picture) or you suggest something else ?

if its grout, no polisher or cleaner will remove. the only way i can think of is scraping it off with a spackle knife. go easy!
