Blanco sink - do they stain?

Hi - what is your experience with Blanco sinks? We are going with the white color blanco sink. we make a lot of indian food (turmeric, spices etc), should we be concerned about staining?

thank you!

Thanks joseph! how long did it take to become like that?

My Bianco is fine. Installed 2017. One small stain where an unthinking house painter laid down his brush back then. No cracking or food stains.

I use a lot of turmeric and various red spices, too, But my color is darker than your planned.

    Shannon:

I answer every question posed to me as quickly and as accurately as I can. When I get asked reletively the same question, which happens often, I give the same answer. I can't control that. I never asked my little old lady how old the sink was; it was irrelevant to me. Perhaps we could get a better guess by deducting when that Cambria countertop color came out and if/when it was discontinued.

The sink wasn't exposed to a house full of irresponsible childred and teenagers, that's for sure. People ask fair questions and I let my pictures speak for themselves.

I install Blanco composite sinks when customers request them. They're generally an okay sink, and you are correct that they have plenty of satisfied customers, however, the Blanco composites are more coarse than the Elkay Quart Luxe. Order the samples and see/feel for yourself please. The more dense the composite, the less likely it is to stain.

@Joseph Corlett, LLC is there a composite sink you prefer to the Blanco brand?

As I said earlier, order the Blanco samples and the Elkay Quartz Luxe samples and compare them please.

I have a light colored blanco sink and it stained only a couple months of using it. Nothing I have tried has removed the stain. It is very visible because one side of the sink has no staining and the other is awful. Go with a dark color.

Exactly the same thing happened to mine. Light Grey blanco and already stained on the bottom. It is driving me crazy and looks awful.

I left a bowl during the course of the day in my blanco sink and now there is a permanent mark. Not sure if it’s sun induced faded mark or what is causing the mark to not go away. It’s driving me nuts. It’s so odd, I’ve definitely left items in the sink before and have not had a mark left behind. I tried to clean it and it’s still there. Anyone have any tips or insight to remove this mark. I don’t even know if it’s a water stain, sun damage or what all I know is that it’s the bowl outline. Thanks in advance. The image below shows the circle outline I’m talking about in the bottom left.

I have a white Blanco sink, and while it stains, you can bleach it and the stains come out. I’ve had mine for a year and satisfied with it.

I'm betting the bottom of the sink can be refinished, but it may not match the sides.

I have a 12 year old almond /biscuit color Blanco sink and I use the Clorox cleaning spray on it to remove stains. They come out quickly and it looks great after all this time.

Our Silgranit sink is one of the light colors, and we cook a lot with all the spices. It gets some softscrub with bleach every 2 weeks at most and still looks new after 10 years.

I have a light gray Blanco sink. I consistently use a metal sink base grid made for the sink. When the sink seems a bit discolored from stains not thoroughly removed by dish soap and water, I plug the drain and put in a few inches of hot water along with a couple Cascade Platinum dishwasher pods and let it soak. Then I scrub the metal grid and sink and both cleaned easily and thoroughly.
