Hi all. I'd like some color choice suggestions. Please help, this is driving us crazy!
We have a cedar sided house in the woods (see photos). We just replaced the roof and went with a metal roof. For both temperature regulation (reflect sun) and a neutral color, we went with a grey metal roof (see color attachment). Now we are stuck with it and trying to come up with the rest of the exterior color scheme. We have tried the color visualizers and they are cludgy and not particularly helpful to us. No other house in our "neighborhood" looks like our. We have no HOA. Here are some pertinent points:

• We would like to stay with a semi-transparent stain of the cedar. We would prefer a stain that brings out the grain and the wood characteristics. What colors would work best?
• Currently, our foundation and our soffits are painted green. What alternative colors?
• The facia is currently the same color as the the siding. Would a contrasting color look better? Which color?
• Suggestions for door colors and window and door trim colors?
• Suggestions for the door and window trim
• Suggestions for the porch colors?
