We are in the middle of building a new house and our well was recently drilled. We hit water at about 120 ft - yay! However, it's flowing at around 40gpm, and we had to install a relief valve so as not to destroy our pump. They suggested putting in a pond(or ponds) to deal with this excess flow. Does anyone have any experience with this?
