Aqua or blue kitchen

I am torn between these two colours for kitchens;

One is the aqua blue from Nobilia (touch 337) and the other

Blue similar to picture (manufactured locally using lamination). The picture is what the local designer suggested and which i would like to avoid (dont want many cabinets on the adjacent wal)l

Blue (rendered at a local kitchen designer).

Neither. They're both too depressing for me. Especially up here in the north when it's gray much of the year -- I would feel pangs of sadness every time I walked in the kitchen. Is there any other blue tone you can use that isn't so drab?

If I understand the look your after correctly I like the second one.
Here are better images of what I would have in mind.

Benjamin Moore Ocean Floor is the color of the second photo

I’m am totally obsessed with BLUE! So I’m excited with this project!! :)

Be certain you have levels of lighting such as under cabinet, task (over sink, oven and other work areas) and bright ambient. You’ll be glad you have it and your blue cabinets will look glorious. Don’t forget dimming capabilities and major switches at entrances.

I agree with the previous 2 comments that the colors in your OP aren’t right. If you are going to have blue cabinets, they should be blue, not a muddied or drabbed sorta-blue.

Also keep in mind FLOORS which in your OP pics are wrong with the cabinets. See how in the pics below the floors complement and enhance the cabinets.

If you want to go pale, here is Jenna Bush’s kitchen with cabinets painted Benjamin Moore Wedgewood Gray:

Or a dark blue, perhaps mixed with white cabinets - and a dark blue range. This blue is Benjamin Moore Hale Navy:

This one is a peacock blue (exact paint color unknown):

I’m not a fan of the shade of blue as it feels more like a color for a bedroom.

If it were me, I’d collect samples of counters, backsplashes and flooring, so you can get a sense of combination(s) and ultimately an overall look.

I didn’t like the green right off, but have the feeling it‘s due to the kitchen’s design (feels office like).

Again, consider the whole space and how other elements help to achieve your desired look, vs deciding on the cabinet color in a silo.

    Nobilla touch is my choice!

    Neither. Both look depressing gray.

I'm not voting because my screen can't display blues (or maybe greens?) properly- and I would strongly, strongly encourage you to make sure you have a substantially sized sample to take home (or at least one you can use to get a paint sample), because it's not the first, or second that I've owned like that.

(not a pro) Colors look different depending on the space, surrounding colors, ambient light, time of day, direction of windows, lightbulbs used, etc. So I'd paint large sample boards of each color you're considering and live with them in your kitchen for several days. If this is a new build and you can't test in place, then try to imitate the space as much as possible (e.g. in a room with windows facing the same direction and similar lighting.) Look at them at different times of day, with lights on and off. I had a paint color in my DR that looked very different at noon than it did at night.
