CA Kate There is no such thing as a persimmonquat. I chose kumquats because they are the easiest of citrus to grow in containers or in ground. I have found them to be very much harder to grow than my NZL of Valentine pomelo. I make fun of mu kumquats by showing how much better my Hardy Chicago kumquats (FIGS) grow than any other citrus. My New Zealand lemonade has 61 lemons on it and is growing, flowering and setting more fruit. My much smaller valentine pomelo has 1 fruit that will have more mass than all 7 of my kumquat trees' fruits combined.
