Hovering hanging dining room light

I have a open concept kitchen, dining, living room. My dining table is 54 inch round table with 4 chairs. The hanging light I ordered is 31 inch round-gold metal.
The light will be hung 6-1/2 ft from floor. Ceiling is 9 ft.
I absolutely love the light fixture. My concern is that I don’t want the feeling of a round space ship hovering over a round table look.
I’m sorry I am not in the location to send pics of light fixture and table so asking for your best judgment. Thanks.

But, what is the question?

You are obviously second-guessing your choice, but without a photo how can anyone advise. And, remember that all we can give is our opinion.

So can you link a picture of the light fixture? You are wondering if round light fixture 31 inch diameter will be too massive for the room and 54 in table? Of course pix would help but if you can't get pix of the space at least the light fixture might help to get a bit more informed opinions.

Finally got some pics. The larger part of the lamp is 31 and my table is 54.

The problem is it is not an open design and you appear to have two lamps with same shape shades. The size is fine, they shape is not. You can still do the round shape but find one that is more open. Lots of options out there.
