Or you can pick some color from brick, even charcoal gray, then combine it with cedar/wood.

I do not see what color your roof. Here taupe with white trim that I like. And may be cedar color for railing and deck.

It's a great house, congrats on buying it. I saw tons of people struggling with the color schemes on this forum and I totally understand why. I remember my brother waisting almost a month deciding on the color and then repainting the facade to a different one xD.

The brick is fine, but, the red at the top, is not so fine. I would leave all the cedar color, including the railings. The railings that are there, fit the house. I just cant see glass ones on there, and what you have is perfect. Congratulations on your new home. Please live with it for a while, before you decide to redo it all. It is better to do that, as long as its livable, so you dont make a costly mistake. What you think you want changed now, may not be what you want in a few months. Paint a wall or two or three, if needed, but, leave major remodeling, with the exception of something broken.

Awesome house for two sisters! I see why you want to change the railing, but glass seems wrong for the house. Have you looked at cable railing?

Thank you everyone for your responses. I am really liking the beige/cream exterior Celery provided. Thank you for that! I do agree, I am thinking maybe Grey. Not sure if I should go dark or light. The current roof right now is brown. The colour scheme is soooo hard to decide on and we really just want to do it correct the first time, that way we have no second thoughts. Railing wise, I am really leaning towards the cedar frame and glass but tinting the glass but honestly, I do like the wood or wire railing idea. Also definitely, we will be working on our own pace but I do believe it is essentially to have an idea of what the outside Color will be as we will be doing our decks and roof very soon.

I would go w/putty grey for brick and siding, paint porches and garage black. Too busy as it is. I have a mix of painted brick and siding, it does not peel and looks great painted.

There are services for 3d modeling your house such as bimoutsourcing and you can use it in order to check how your house will look choosing different options

Am I alone that the red looks great? That pale putty color is horrible- looks straight out of the70’s and not in a good way (sorry!)

I have been 100% against painting brick, but I have seen a lot of talk on this forum about Romabio. I don't have all the answers, but some of the pros that I truly respect really like this product. If I didn't love the color of my brick I would consider using Ramabio. It is not a paint, won't chip/peel and won't damage the brick.

One of the things I love about my home is the connection of the outside to the inside.

The brick is repeated in the foyer and living room with a 10' wall. The red is repeated in the slate flooring

I am just repainting red on the outside so it all matches as some has faded over the years.

Throughout the house I will be repeating the red, blue/greens and purple grays that are found in the slate flooring.

If you look at some of the things that I own you will find out that the colors in the slate flooring are repeated in most of my art and décor items (and in my wardrobe).

My paint colors were selected as colors that work well as a backdrop to the colors I love.

The starting point for planning a color palette always has to start with must stay (those colors that we simply can't afford to change) and the colors that you love.

Once you know those 2 things you can begin creating a palette that will make 'your' heart sing.

Funny the brick is one of the nice elements on this home. The red is terrible to me- this style of contemporary architecture doesn't really needs its trim picked out in accent colors either- it is too skinny to be meaningful. I would paint everything a dark color like Black Fox by sherwin williams. I would be tempted to strip the handrail elements and use a lighter wood stain on them if they are in good enough shape...
