Burling is a treasure.

She really is! When I first messaged her I was moving, she set some aside for me until I was ready and she had no issues adding to my order. Giving me Federico for free since it was smaller, well, she did not even have to do that. Really wonderful customer care.

I have Roller Coaster from Burling, also. It's five years old now (can't believe it's been that long), and I've really enjoyed it.

I love my roses from Burlington.

One of my new ones is Lavender Jewel. It has done really well.

Thanks for posting! My juices for new rose orders are starting to flow even though I have a dozen from last year that still need either potting up to 5-gallon or else putting in the ground. But since I've been walking around the property mulling where last year's batch should eventually go, I've found a bunch of new spaces that NEED a rose bush or twelve to brighten them up. DESPERATELY NEED, I tell you. So of course I have to come to Houzz and HMF to figure out what will be on this year's order list, and I'm so glad to see what others have ordered as a jumping off point for my own search. Thanks!

Aunt Margy's is such a great rose here (md zone7). I honestly got it just to fill up the last space in the box and had no idea what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! It was by far the healthiest rose I had this year, no disease, no defoliating and lots of adorable blooms.

@mydl happy to hear Aunt Margy's did well for you! I hope my heat is not too much for it. How much did it grow since you've had it?

@slumgullion in southern OR oh you're welcome! I really missed my old garden and getting these in the mail was like Christmas. There was nothing interesting going on out in the yard except grass and a pomegranate tree, so I totally understand were you're coming from with spaces that NEED a rose! What's on your list for next year?

I had wanted to move for some time, and overall the house and yard are like a dream come true, I have a lot more space now and it's a very positive change for our boys. How long have you had Lavendar Jewel? Is it in a pot or the ground? Any pics to share?

I get a lot of heat in the summer. I'm in a city and have reflected heat from buildings etc.

Aunt Margy's is about 2 ft tall and 3 ft wide. I got it last year in sept of 2020.

It's growth was very lanky, almost horizontal initially. I pruned it gradually this summer and it responded well. It put out several canes that are more upright. It also bloomed a lot even through all that training. Also, the first blooms were small flat and white. gradually they began to look like the ones on help me find . Cupped, with magenta mixed with white. Very pretty.

I measured Roller Coaster, and it is now exactly five feet tall. As long as I'm here, here is a picture of the hips.

Kathy, I got Lavender Jewel this summer and popped it in the ground. No pictures yet but it is doing very well

Another winner is Sweet Chariot. Wonderful color!
