LE Antares

Pretty! I love a red violet, but don’t have any. The only one I ever had — ages ago — was Disco Dazzler from LL and it was magnificent… red, of course, but it had more sparkle in the blooms than I’ve ever seen in any flower of any kind. I’d love to have it again.

Arcturus looks amazing, I also really like Vega. Three excellent reds are all named after stars, pretty cool .

I really like PowWow too. It has a really nice form.

Those reds look great Judy. Is Bob the same colour as Red Rocket? I saw it for sale a few times over the summer but passed it over. I'd probably jump on Polina Viardo though, really like the white edge combined with variegation.

I would say Bob Serbin is very close to Red Rocket, but the flowers aren’t quite as big. i’d try it if i were you. Polina Viardo is a bit more Magenta, but the flowers are huge, the foliage is gorgeous, and it shapes beautifully for me. it’s a fairly large plant - not as readily available, though.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll try Bob Serbin when I see it next. I like closest to red as possible though it's somewhat more difficult to find .
