We need to get dual roller shades for five 47x71 windows that run along one side of the family room. Which of the two balances do you find most appealing?

-The first valence will not protrude; the second one will protrude 1/2 inch.
-The first valance will be white metal while the second one will be covered in white fabric which would be the same as the shade.
-As you can see, the first first valance is a rectangular box and is an inch longer than the second one. The second one is semi circular across the front.
