Need transition color!
Painting foyer, hallway, walls along stairs, and second floor hallway. All areas are visible from my front door. The room to left while standing at front door is painted in Basic Khaki (Behr) which pulls a green undertone in my space. Thought I'd continue this color but its not working with carpet upstairs. Need a color that works against Basic Khaki, but also works with pink-beige carpet upstairs. Every color that works with carpet looks pink next to Basic Khaki. Contractor wants me to use SW paint. Relaxed Khaki is closest match to the Basic Khaki on my wall. I've tried so many colors my head is spinning. Maybe a transition color that runs up the stairs with a different color in the upstairs hallway? But then I'd have to different colors across from eachother.
below is last color I tried and it looks really yellow but again doesnt really work with wall or carpet upstairs.

I hadn't considered green because the front room where khaki is connects to my dinj g room which I painted two greens (which I love). The khaki room was originally done in casual khaki Behr but it was so pink-beige next to my green room it looked awful so I re-painted the front room in Basic Khaki (Behr). I have a grey color (SW Worldy Grey) painted next to door and carpet (last two photos) but it looks purple.
