Window shutters vs cellular blinds

I have to replace a broken window shutter in the front living room. The rest of the house is cellular blinds. Should I continue using white shutters or is it out-of-date now? The shutters are being paid for by the previous people so cost is not a factor.

The plantation shutters are classic and will never go out of style. Budget permitting, would definitely repair it or replace the broken plantation shutters with new plantation shutters.

No, shutters aren’t out of date.

Would you prefer all your window treatments match, or does that matter?

It’s just personal preference and what would work best with your style and your needs.

Is this the only window on the front of the house? If so replace the "always in style" shutters. If not, I like all the front windows to look the same from the curb.

My personal preference is a cellular shade with a bottom-up/top-down option. I just don't like seeing slat/bars across my windows.

I don't care what is in or out!

Shades, not shutters.

Wide is always a good choice it brightens the room you could get plantation shutters or you could get a woven shade I would prefer the shade
