I know most people will say “this kitchen is too small for an island” but the island is staging! ;)

This is the island that was put in by the builders 20 years ago! (We did change the counter top).

We want to extend the island a little so that we can fit two stools underneath to pull out when we have multiple people in the kitchen/eat in dinning area! Have you seen any designs that you love ? I am thinking of just doing simple square posts to extend? I’ll post a picture of our current island and then the look I’m going for!
