Pictures? What brand and type grout? Was it sealed?

The epoxy grout is SpectraLOCK Pro Premium Grout AB and C is midnight Black. The floor was not sealed because I thought epoxy grout doesn’t not need sealing.

These next two pictures is when the floor is dry. Really hard to tell in these pictures, but the grout looks grey and not black like the very first picture I sent. I don’t know if I should get this area re grouted . I did call the vendor of the grout and said I can re grout over

Was the expiration date on the grout good? Was not mixed with too much water to too much water used in clean was there? Too much water during clean up can wash out the color some. As far as pictures it is tough to tell the color on my monitor.

I can’t determine the date. The grout was bought around the time of renovation. Ok that makes sense of using too much water either during the mixing and washing off.
I am going to have them re gout this area
I know the pictures are not great. I have been looking at the floor for the last few weeks and it is really bugging me. Because it looks like soap residue but after scrubbing the floor it’s still there.

I noticed this grey look as soon as the floor was installed. I thought it it was the mortar coming up. I brought this up to the installer. They thought it just needed to be cleaned. I cleaned the floor, scrubbed the area and the grey will not go away.

I hope you can get it where you like it - VERY cool color combination - I really like it!!

Efflorescence and as you use it you will get staining from mineral deposits in your water and from soap and bath shower products residue. Hard water stains will be a lot more obvious on dark tile and grout.

Nidnay and chispa

This may happen in the future, but this bathroom was completed two weeks ago and I noticed this greying in a small area before the bathroom was ever used
Thank you both for your comments this is what I am not understanding…. The greying is only in a small area of the shower. The walk-in shower does not have this greying anywhere else or on the rest of the floor (I have wet the entire floor at some point)
I have a black floor and black grout ( not epoxy gout) in a powder room I had renovation 11 months ago. I clean this floor regularly and I don’t see any efflorescence happening.
I do know when the tiler requested me to fill her Home Depot bucket with water ( multiple times ) I can more understand what Millworkman said.
