I have been doing embroidery for about 50 years and had always had troubles putting a pattern on fabric. I've used carbon paper for many years, but have recently discover wax pencils!

You have to be pretty precise with your tracing, and have to press pretty hard to get a good, clear pic on your fabric, but 5-7 seconds with the iron and you're good to go!
