We have the B36CL80ENS. Been about a year. No issues with the finish - a damp microfiber followed by a quick dry off and It looks great. Our middle drawer is for meats or fruits rather than beverages. That seems more useful to me than the beverage center. The only thing I would change is the handles. Thought it would be nice to have the integrated handles so nothing sticks out into the kitchen. They are a PAIN to keep clean - too many hard to reach crevices. Only thing that works at all is a wooden skewer covered by a microfiber cloth.

Glad to hear it cleans up so easily! And good to know about the handles. I saw both options in a showroom and though I liked the recessed ones, I thought the normal ones seemed easier to use.

I've had the B36CT80SNS for about a year and am happy with it. I got it through Home Depot, and it looks like they currently have it. The handles are totally different on this model than the one you mentioned - mine are easy to keep clean.

I haven't had any issues, so I can't speak to the service question. It does seem like food stays fresh for a fairly long time (caveat: I'm really appalled by food waste in general so I usually plan meals to avoid spoilage of whatever's in the fridge). The produce drawers have individual temperature adjustments. I have had issues with the 32-34 degree setting freezing my lettuce, so I bump the temp up one notch compared to what I expected to use.

I have no complaints about the SS finish. I regularly put my puppy's licky-mat directly on to the freezer drawer front (the mat has little suction cups). My pup drools all over the place while he's licking his treats, and afterward the fridge cleans up easily. I mostly use a soft rag and a diluted mix of white vinegar and Mrs Meyer's lavender cleaner. Once in a while I use the fancy SS cleaner but it doesn't seem to do much that the simpler cleaner doesn't do.

I will say that the drawer slides in this fridge seem better quality than the ones in comparably priced fridges. The slides are actually the main feature that made me pick this fridge.

he does not want water or ice on the outside, so i saw B36CT80SNS. pricey but he might have to bite the bullet...

we ruled out Samsung since they seem to have a lot of issues, and poor service, LG, also issues. GE seems ok but i like the Bosch since they are rated as 'quiet'.

I have the B36CT80SNS and honestly don't remember ever hearing it make noise. It's installed within a cabinet enclosure, which might help, but I would think I'd notice some sound if it was noisy.

The water inside was important to me too. One thing about that - the water comes out a little bit warmer than the fridge temperature. DH and I really like the temperature - cool but not arctic - but for somebody who loves ice-cold water, you'd want to add ice. FWIW, the icemaker works well and is also quiet except for the occasional dumping of the fresh cubes.

When I purchased it I researched noise levels cuz my old fridge squealed like a banshee. It is almost completely silent. Every now and then a few ice cubes will drop and the water will run. but this isn’t frequent

I have the B21CL81SNS. Just two years old now. It started off dead silent, but the ice-maker makes this creaking sound at the beginning & end of the ice cycle. And we hear the water running when it's refilling and the fresh ice dumping. But it's not bad enough to warrant a service call.

We really like the double-drawer freezer because it makes organizing a bit easier (less digging for the thing you want that's always at the bottom of the pile). The ice tray occupies about a third of the top drawer.

Overall, we're pretty pleased.

I have the Bosch 800 French Door and I've been happy with it. I thoroughly cleaned it yesterday and noticed that I'd punctured through the liner near the door. The crack is very small and I assume that I closed it at some point in time without having closed the drawers completely. I don't think I'm going to do anything with this as it is so small, but wanted to give everyone a heads up who owns the fridge to be careful.

15 years and counting, never had any issues. When it decides to retire it will be replaced with another Bosch. Also extremely happy with my Bosch dishwasher and washer dryer. Excellent company.

I have a Bosch French door since 2018 with no issues. I noticed the food keeps French longer very noticeable in the fruit and vegetable bins and the meat drawer. This drawer has a divider so I keep cold cuts and cheeses. Both stay fresh and do not pick up odors from the various cheeses. My first Bosch, costly but I’m finding it is worth the money.

How are folks feeling about their Bosch 800 series, 4 door fridges. Any issue with door finish peeling or flaking off?

So far so good with ours, but it's only seven months old. Given all the history of that issue here, we do not use any cleaners except water and Dawn on it, though. The only issue so far is that the icemaker stopped working right at the six-month mark, which turned out to be due to some inane programming where the icemaker stops making ice if it senses the water filter has reached end of life. Bosch customer service was useless, but I stumbled on another owner's post online of the same problem and solution, reset the filter "clock," and we were back in business. Hopefully Bosch will fix this with a firmware update at some point (or at least train their customer service team on it!) The other odd thing for the four-door is that the physical controls for the fridge only allow you to choose a single temperature/humidity level combo for the produce drawer. Discovered in troubleshooting the icemaker issue that if you connect your fridge to their app (which we had not previously done) you can choose separate temps/humidity levels for each side of the drawer. Weird but nice to learn. Still not sure the four-door was worth the added cost over the three-door, though.

Purchased in 2018 and no issues. I did purchase a stainless-steel cleaner from Bosch (I had a coupon from them shortly after I registered it) so I tried it. It has been the only cleaner I use on all the Bosch appliances. Works well - really love it on the stove top as it makes spill clean up very easy.
