Can you explain why the master bedroom is off the kitchen, to begin with?

I would put access to the closet from both the bath and the bedroom, bc if someone is occupying the bathroom, the other generally cant just walk in to the closet to grab something. the old plan gave a bit of a hallway to the bedroom rather than entering from the pantry if you get what I mean. Also maybe a pocket or barn doors rather than swing doors on the closet to save interior space.

@RL Relocation LLC with the addition being the kitchen and master suite, the only other place I figured to enter the master is directly inside the front door to the house and right off of the living/dining room. We felt that when we have guests over we’d prefer the entry to our bedroom be tucked away so our bedroom isnt always on display if the door’s open. I dont think it looks bad being in that corner?
