I would hang it so that you are able to get a full length visual in the mirror.

How may inches is it from your ceiling? Maybe try 10-12" above the ottoman?

@eld6161 thank you so much! This is actually the color thar was there when we purchased the home and the seller never got back to us about what it was ὢ9ὢ9ὢ9ὢ9 it's really nice (flat) and I do want to get it color matched soon

I like the height where it is on the ottoman. I would not hang it level with the door or the opening. I think it looks best a few inches lower than the door.
