Looking for wall oven with no electronics - knobs only

Hello All. I am looking for a simple quality 30" wall oven that does not have an electronic keypad. Honestly, in this situation, it would be great to not have any electronics but simple switches and knobs. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you

That may not be possible. Presence of rotary knobs and mechanical buttons does not indicate there are no electronics. Such knobs and buttons may be input switches for a computer board. Only way to know for sure is ask the manufacturer (which the front-line phone reps may not have the info) ... or better, look up parts diagrams for a specific model of consideration.

I do understand that and know that I am looking for something unusual. It may have to be an older model that I refurb. Doesnt hurt to ask in case people know of that white rhino out there.

I have the double version of that Bosch oven and while it does have satisfyingly analog knobs, much of the functionality is addressed by the keypad - and the keypad can be annoyingly unresponsive at times. Definitely not what I would suggest for someone looking for a no-electronic experience.

This Fulgor Milano F1SM30S130 Inch 2.8 cu. ft. Total Capacity Electric Single Wall Oven looks to be about as basic as you can get. The Summit TEM788BKW24 Inch 2.92 cu. ft. Total Capacity Electric Single Wall Oven is super basic but is 24" wide.

What you want does not exist. All ovens require electronics in order to operate.

Electric ovens of 50 years or so ago used dial adjustable bimetallic temperature controls to maintain temperature setting by power cycling, and mechanical switches to choose between bake and broil. Power could be interlocked with mechanical clock timers for delayed turn on and turn off. I do not recall any wall ovens, however, I only remember ranges.

Many old-style mechanical oven thermostats are of the capillary tube (hydraulic) design.

To get a stove without electronics, you'd need to buy an old one - probably at least 30 or 40 years old. For that, look at Habitat for Humanity ReStore, used item websites (I don't know what's common in your area, here I use Kijiji), or other thrift stores. Perhaps put out an ad yourself looking for old appliances.

There are current, new appliances that have knobs and switches, but that's just the user interface - they are run with electronics. I prefer using knobs, so got that on my range, but I know there's still electronics underneath those knobs.

Actually, there is ONE that I know of. It is made by Bluestar but is not sold under the Bluestar name. They make it for the Big Chill brand as a basic chassis which Big Chill then modifies with a retro body panel style. It appears to have all analog controls. I am very drawn to this, but unfortunately, I chose not to purchase these. And it's because they don't have Bluestar model numbers or part numbers. They use Big Chill model nomenclature and getting service for these is nearly impossible. Many appliance technicians use accounts at part suppliers but I believe that Big Chill handles their own parts supply which they alone are a source for. Before buying ANY appliance, you always want to investigate service and part availability in your area. While there might be 'some' large metro areas with service, most areas in N. America would be challenging to get this serviced. Here is the link to Big Chill. These ovens are lovely. If only service was not so challenging, I would be recommending them to clients and would have bought 2 for myself!!

You are quite welcome. Oh, and I just realized you had not mentioned but I just assumed you were looking for electric wall ovens. FYI, Bluestar makes several models of gas wall ovens that have no electronics. But their electric wall oven models under the Bluestar name all have electronic boards. If you are interested or capable of having gas wall ovens and have access to Bluestar service, that could also be an option for you. They come in 30", 24", and 36" widths. Not sure how well their new Double Oven versions have been received, but the Single wall oven gas versions have been around for years and are relatively simple to service compared with their electric ones. FYI, Bluestar ovens are very stout and their shipping weight is VERY heavy.
