I need your fertilization help

My GD is living in Baja and planting a Meyer Lemon and a Lime in the ground. She need a homemade fertilizer. HELP!

    She can infuse regular water with banana peels or crushed egg shells, and still get an effective fertilizer too.


    That said, urine is the gold standard. I understand she might not want to treat her beloved citrus tree like a toilet, but trees love being a toilet. Humans are the ones with a hang-up.
