Hello,
I am looking for some opinions on how to do a bathroom remodel. The master bathroom is extremely small, with just a standing shower (directly in front of the toilet in photo. The shower door just barely clears the toilet). I would love to have a large soaking tub put in, but there is no extra room as is.

We can extend the outside wall, into the backyard and remove the pond. The pond was going to be removed at some point anyway, it’s a mosquito hotel. This option is much more expensive.
OR
Knock out the wall into the 4th bedroom. Which is currently used as storage, but we were planning on having more children in the future and like the option. Obviously, this is the cheaper option.

What would you do?
