Underlayment over radiant

Looking for some advice about which underlayment product to choose…we are using Revwood Plus over Viega hydronic radiant heat. I’ve seen rubber, polypropylene plastic and cork underlayment options. Wondering what the best product is to help reduce the hollow sound you can get when walking on a laminate floor? TIA

What does RevWood recommend under their product when using radiant? What does Viega recommend over their radiant system? If you want the product to work properly and have a warranty on any of the products you need to follow the manufacturers instructions.

Geowood is an alternative to laminate. Real wood for the top layer at least.

No underlayment is recommended with radiant. Radiant heat works best with tile and concrete. Adding insulation like underlayment and a floor decreases the effectivity of the heating and increases the response lag time both.
