Agree! Remove the rug and leave the shades up and leveled off for showings. Remove the chairs entirely, clear off the top of the chest. Remove the mirror and add fresh flowers for showings. You might consider mounting the TV there. Upgrade the light bulbs to 3500K LEDs and replace the lampshade(s) with plain ivory for better light. This looks like a king bed made up two different ways. I would buy all white or ivory sheet sets for both and a matching spread (with shams) that comes to the floor and hides the box spring. Here's one from JC Penny.

What you see on the bed is an additional bedspread on my wife's side because she gets cold:) But yes it will be cleaned up for staging. We're several months away from listing, still a lot of projects and decluttering to do..

IMO new bedding to work better with the style of bed you have and then choose a color form the new bedding for drapes , Much nicer lighting and I agree the TV above the dresser no mirror. also no rug

When you are ready to put in on the market just make sure everything is clean and tidy. I do not think someone is going to pass on your home just bc they do not like your window shades.

I agree, leave blinds and leave them up. No area rug. New bedding or pillows.

I would keep mirror over dresser and accessorize and remove tv from bedroom.
