Hindu rope won't stop flowering

My girlfriend has a hindu rope plant (thats all I know about it).... it was struggling to survive so I took it and put it into my weed grow tent. Within a month it started growing like crazy then produced its first flower. She was amazed because "supposidly they are hard to flower".
Since then I've built her an LED light similar to what's in my tent and the plant has been flowering non stop for atleast a year. She wants it to grow bigger and we are thinking it wont because its focusing on producing flowers instead. Do we need to reduce its light levels and feed?
While in my tent it was getting 18 hours of direct LED and fed like my weed plants a
4-3-8 NPK ratio, now it gets an average of 15 hrs direct light. Is it really that uncommon to flower so much?
